Which Klook Mt Fuji tour should you book?
Most Klook Mt Fuji day tours leave from Tokyo Station or Shinjuku in the morning and get back in the evening. They fall into four types. STEPHANDPETE works on all of them.
| Tour type | Usual stops | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Kawaguchiko photo spots | Chureito Pagoda (Arakurayama Sengen Park), Oshino Hakkai, Lake Kawaguchiko, the "Fuji Lawson" | First-timers and the classic Fuji photos |
| Mt Fuji and Hakone | Lake Ashi torii gate, Hakone Shrine, pirate ship, Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani | Seeing two areas in one day |
| Small group with pick-up | Similar stops, fewer people | Families and anyone who hates big buses |
| Private tour or car with driver | Your choice of Fuji, Hakone or Nikko | Groups splitting the cost |
Going to the rollercoasters instead? STEPHANDPETE also works on Fuji-Q Highland tickets on Klook.
Tips before you book
- Fuji hides in cloud a lot. Clear views are more likely on cold, dry mornings in late autumn and winter. Check whether the tour has a bad-weather policy
- Pick your departure point (Tokyo Station or Shinjuku) based on where you're staying, and check the meeting time the night before
- Doing more in Japan? Use the same code on the Shinkansen, teamLab and airport transfers. See Klook promo code Japan
