Most eSIM content lists China as a supported destination and moves on. Having traveled extensively across mainland China — Shanghai, Chengdu, Harbin, Guilin, Yangshuo, Zhangjiajie, Chongqing — here's what you actually need to know before using any eSIM there.
Data is only half the problem
